With just 1 week left of this semester's teaching I thought it was about time I got my blog up and running!
The main focus of this semester's module - 'Observation and Experiment' - was to undertake a study of work in sketchbook format observing a topic of our choice.
Essentially, this means lots and lots of drawing from life and trying to capture the human form using various different mediums and methods of mark making.
My topic is leisure time and children's playtime, though I have broadened the topic to include just about anything and everything I have chosen to draw to date!
Here are some sketches from the past few months which (hopefully) show some signs of progress:
